Robertson, Carter, Selby etc have withdrawn and I would not be surprised if more do the same. This isn't even a half hearted effort. You give them too much credit Witz.

i agree with some points there however isn't it what people want the ability to pick and chose which tournaments to play in so if that's the case withdrawals should be a integral part of the PTC.
But going to scotland in winter really was a blunder.
btw its not mike ganleys fault he runs a tournament where there is a tournament.
Brandon parker he is the guy at the heart of the European tour events.

Exactly, im sure they could have found a venue somewhere that would have been reasonable value and fitted the bill somewhere in Glasgow where theres a massive catchment area.
And i doubt anyone other than diehard snooker fans will even know of this tournaments existence. If it had had remotely any promotion and been at a far more central venue, then things would have been far better.
It says it all that the tickets were on sale for months and i only just bought mine a week or so ago and my ticket number tomorrow is number 13 Dont all rush at once

Date - Directly after a Major (the UK) and directly before Xmas, means it didnt stand a chance Crowds will be dire due to this, plus then fact the top players arent turning up or giving two hoots so it doesnt stand a chance, its nothing more than a token gesture putting this event on, on Scottish soil to appease people up in arms at the lack of a proper ranker.
Venue - Picked for no other reason than its dirt cheap and its hander for players who are driving up the M6 / M74 as its the first place they come to. A central Glasgow location would have been better off than this place as a lot of people could have walked to it or got public transport, its literally in the middle of nowhere on an Industrial Estate, ive already warned SMM and SMF that the nearest pub other than the pathetic boozer in the venue, is 3 miles away. And if they really want a decent night they better abandon their duties and head 20 miles into Glasgow with me and the troops.
Words will be exchanged with Ganley tomorrow, of that i can assure yous
