There is a lot of Criticism for the PTC But it gives Earning Opportunities to the Lower Ranks.

Jamie Burnett could walk away with €12,000 tonight that's right up there in his top 10 pay cheq in 20 years on tour easily if he wins.

they might be smaller events but the rewards for some is massive.

The upside of the massive arena is that we get to hear Robbo's entrance music for a while. The downside is we have to listen Lady Gaga for a while as well :irk:

a trip to leeds and a meeting with snookerbacker has been a inspiration for Neil.

Burnett's form has improved ever since he narrowly missed that tough black against Maguire in the UK a few years ago.

Maybe that's why Robbo's been playing so bad  . He badly needed a snake hiss.

That or he's going Ebdonesque.

Isn't it amazing that into October we still have no multiple winners this season? Parity is wonderful.

Bingham won the Pink Ribbon event and then asian ptc1 event at the start of the season... but if you're talking about events carrying ranking points, yeah no multiple winner yet

Maybe as the season onfolds we will get one, most likely from someone who has already won a ptc

that is exactly why Selby is World no 1 because there is nobody you can class as the "BEST" Player in the world at the moment and someone has to be no 1

Apparently Neil Robertson is joining Snooker Legends, for that England and Ireland vs Rest Of The World thing they do.

I guess the recent PTC win has made him a legend. rofl

What i cant umderstand is that Davis isnt involved in their set up, bar maybe one appearance i think.

For most average punters in the street, the kind who are likely to attend an event like this, Davis along with Jimmy are prob the 2 most recognisable players and ones theyd know off and want to see.

As for Robbo, Judd etc becoming involved, well its no longer really Legends but more a spin-off exhibition series and an even lesser version of the Premier League almost.

The days of exhibitions for me are pretty much over, well certainly ones for current pros as theres more than enough snooker for them already.

But Hendons meal tickets from C0ndom Park will be upon us again in a few months, its the ultimate joke yet he will sing its praises and justify its worth to the calendar no doubt on the basis that the freebie breakfast is good.

Well the pros would just be practising at their clubs anyway, they might as well get some match practise and money out of the CL. I'm sure Hearn makes some money off of it as well by selling streaming rights, so he won't complain. It's not like they're not scheduling events because of it considering that they're usually held the same week as qualifiers and no one outisde of the top32 get invited.
