OH MY GOD. What an incredible match! Im so hyped up right now that was brilliant!

Some of the shots played in that decider by swail. The long red from tight on baulk cushion was incredible and the pink to middle from the jaws of corner was just sensational with the pressure of being knocked out if he missed it.

Then the double on the black was brilliant. So happy! As much as I like Selby I would love to see Joe win this, always been one of my favourites but when he dropped off the tour I thought it was the end. Brilliant

They dont call him the come back king for no reason. Hes literally come back from the dead here. Who would have thought it, he gets to his second ever ranking final and hes not even on tour!

Am I right in saying that Swail is now a near cert to get a 2 year tour card at the end of the season? He's now at least 4th in the PTC order of merit, and I think the top 8 amateurs get on....

Yeah im pretty sure that will give him a two year tour card.

This reminds me of his run in the welsh open 2009. Great tense wins over great players entertaining everyone with his style of play and creating more memorable matches.

Final starting. As well as Swail has done, hope Selby wins. Would be pretty poor from him if he lost to Swail.

Great atmosphere at the start. Germany need (and deserve) more events.

Swail gets frame ball. Already doing better than Mavis last year. Hopefully not too much better though

Selby wins 4-1. Good to see Swail get so far, but he was outsafetied this final and he rarely got in first. He had to wait for Selby to make a mistake to get chances which doesn't happen that often when he's at, or near, top form.
