What is the seeding structure, Wild? You would expect a decision to be made regarding Lee before then. He is the defending champion so does that effect the seeding/draw?

Don't know how the seedings work but regarding defending champions this is one event where they don't get any priority.
Last year Shaun Murphy was defending Champion and he didn't make the cut to play in it.

Highlighted in Green
http://www.snooker.org/res/index.asp?te ... eason=2012but there's 5 there because of Equal Points
Li Hang and Jin Long are definitly both been on the Main Tour before Jin Long in fact turned pro in 2001
The other 3 in the Mix are
Shi Hanqing
Cao Xinlong
Mei Xiwen
somehow they have to be separated with 1 missing out.

This could prove to be quite a problem considering that essentially we have three ways of qualifying for the tournament - The PTC OOM, the APTC OOM and the winning of a APTC
You've got 25 qualifying via the main or OOM, 5 ( or 6) coming from the APTCs and 2 (or 1) qualifying via winning a tournament
For me there are three ways they are going to do this
1. Use the current world ranking seeding list essentially as far as they can but that would automatically mean Li Hang is going to be seeded 32 and face the number 1 seeded qualifier
2. Amalgamate the two OOM's in some way, to provide a ranking of all 32 qualifiers.
3. A completely random draw for the first round which is bracketed from the Last 16 onwards
