Ricky takes a 3-2 lead over Ebdon.

It can be mentally bit tight at times, but players are in great hands now. Loads of matches and there won´t be much cheap shots behind the curtains anymore like it was a habit just a few years ago. So really worth of it, and personally looking forward the spring (not even mention summer here)..

Not sure why ITV4 chose to screen this tournament, they knew there would be rubbish attendance like always in China. This doesnt do any good for the sport. They should have screened something like German Masters

its possitive that they decided to screen anything at all considering its been 10 years since they televised anything

Any chance of milkins getting in top 16 soon hes a classy player and better than plodder MCD

theres always a chance by the end of the china open because hes in the PTC Grand Finals too

at the moment hes about 4,300 points off the top 16 so he needs to reach the Final to give him a chance after this tournament.

his temperament must be dodgy

because his break building and safety is top drawer

over the years hes rushed shots a bit too much and its cost him like Drago.

but this season hes had some decent runs and currently 13th on the one year list.

he started the season ranked 36 and he has a chance of being a seed at the World Championship.

for me that sort of story will be missing with a flat 128 draw.

ok its a fairer system but seeing players with that immediate target of a higher ranking with a tier system would put bigger significance of playing well at tournaments.
