Nothing away from the difficulty and art of the breakbuilding, but much of the today´s professional snooker is about how to get in and amongs the balls.. So how players possibly makes the difficult opening reds and handles the venues pressure and so on.
Really great matches are not made of getting in by opponent´s mistakes even if scoring heavily.

Weird.
Apparently there were no cameras rolling and no streams anywhere, but somehow BBC Wales can show us some footage from the match. If there is footage why not release it on the red button, Eurosport or liveworldsnooker.tv?

BBC Wales will show from now to 16:15 and Eurosport will cover both the tables. I think the streams are up from 1:30 as well.

Also see Stevens won. Thought that could go either way before the match. How was the play?

I chose to go for a kip so i,d have enough energy to watch the Higgins/Doherty match.
Amazing that these 2 have met again after all these years.
Higgins has won 15 times to Kens 9,2 of there meetings were draws.
The pair have played each other on 26 ocassions, the first time was way back in 1995,in the International Open in which Higgins whitewashed Ken,5-0!.
The last time they met until today was in 2011 in the last 32 of the PTC 9.
http://www.cuetracker.net/pages/h2h.php?ID1=7&ID2=38So it,s time for the 27th meeting between John Haggis v Ken Irish stew Doherty.
Come on John, let that irish dumpling Ken stew in his own juices!.
