Thorne is good at breakbuilding information but clueless about the players and the game in general

Dunn getting battered.
3-0 Dunn not been great and Judd just been picking him off.

Judd through 4-0.
Hard to judge how well he's playing because he was put under any pressure and was given a lot of chances. You could tell near the end he started taking on silly shots because he felt Mike couldn't hurt him.

As much as I like the Welsh, I'm not a big fan of the b07. At 3-1 in a b09, there's still half a match left. 3-1 in a b07 and it feels like the match is almost over.

Judd just did what he had to do, had a good long potting percentage, but as skull said Dunn put him under no pressure at all.
As for Dale, he too won convincingly, 4-1... Wells just can't make that extra step in his career... I feel he's a bit of a waste of telent, cause I reckon he's much better than this, but for some reason just can't get the results and tends to lose lots of matches in a season.
A very early night it is then as far as snooker is concerned.

BetVictor Welsh Open Last 32 Discussion
Since Wild has opened this thread, not much has changed. The main points are that two of winners of professional events this year, German Master Ali Carter and Shootout Champion Martin Gould, haven't made it to the Newport Centre. One of the four Welsh players that had his last 64 match held over, Ryan Day, has also been eliminated. But Mark Williams, Matthew Stevens and Dominic Dale have progressed and are keeping local hopes alive. The usual suspects are still in the event with Mark Selby easily progressing, Judd Trump winning more comfortably than he has of late and defending champion Ding Junhui playing well to get past Dechawat Poomjaeng.
So who will win?
Last 32 Draw
Ding Junhui v Mark King
Marco Fu v Mark Allen
Gerard Greene v Sam Baird
Robert Milkins v Mark Williams
Neil Robertson v Ian Burns
Craig Steadman v Stuart Bingham
Ricky Walden v Tom Ford
Ken Doherty v John Higgins
-------------------------------------------------------------
Judd Trump v Dominic Dale
Andrew Higginson v Michael Wasley
Graeme Dott v Fergal O'Brien
Pankaj Advani v Shaun Murphy
Stephen Maguire v Anthony Hamilton
Liang Wenbo v Matthew Stevens
Barry Hawkins v Alan McManus
Joe Perry v Mark Selby
