Higgins levels at 3 all... so far there never has been more than a frame between the two... let's see if the pattern continues...

Very ambitious long red that Shaun took on there and missed... that has been his problem down the years... takes on far too many risky long pots... and very often at the wrong time... Higgins in again

This match illustrates why Murphy career has been disappointing overall.
he pushes the boat out at the wrong time

Watched a bit of this match earlier. It was a real snooze-fest. Hopefully Trump will make short work of the winner.

Higgins in again with a good long red... Murphy hasn't had any table time at all since he led by 3-2

Generation Matches like Higgins v Trump are what Snookers all about.
in most other Sports you don't get that type of Age Gap in Finals

After the MSI, Higgins has had breaks of 70, 94 and that superb 135... that just shows how the man is playing at the moment...

higgins needs to keep it going though Murphy has come back in matches before and will believe he will win.

And what was I thinking when I thought Murphy would win this match
Yet again, he falls at the semis of a ranker... becoming a habit now

Oh rubbish, I just realised that Higgins will win the World Championship next year. Higgins is back at his best and he really looks determined for the first time since May 2011. Very dangerous combination.

Following the same pattern since 2007, then yeah you're right... hope he doesn't though..

Just realised whoever wins from Higgins and Trump tomorrow will become WN1 (unless Selby overtakes them before the end of the seeding cut off).
Well one year was good. I'm sure Mark'll be back to his best soon.
