Why does Ding need appearance money to play in a ranking event held in his home town? Anyway it's the sponsors who paid it so its fine. Well played Ricky Walden.

i dont think its fine i just think it stinks and a bit Naff TBH.
the Trophy Ding got was Better than the Tea Pot Walden got.

I watched a bit last night on Eurosport. I was out most of the day.
I did see Bingham's 147 though.
I'd had a few beers. This morning I couldn't remember much other than the 147 and Bingham losing.
