Unfortunately I have seen very little of his match against Ding. Was it Ding that blew that match or was Barry just too good?
Barry will be a harder proposition than carter was.
That is utter tosh. Hawkins is nowhere near Carter's level.
Agreed. Easily the most underestimated player in the top16. Let's not forget Carter's the player who got closest to ROS out of all four he's faced so far.

carter is a joke
hawk will show that in the final when he beats CDL ronnie
Unlike to happen. I mean I'll run down the street with no clothes on singing that shake pineapple push a tree song from the 80s if Hawkins wins.

Carter also played well in last year's final. He didn't perform in 2008, he was just overwhelmed by the occasion that time but in 2012 he gave Ronnie a match.
Very few players would have gotten more than 11 frames out of Ronnie last year.

Absolutely. Carter deserves respect. More World finals than Selby, Ding, Allen and Maguire combined.

Forget Jaws, Barry Hawkins could kill a shark with his bare hands.

You really are a dribbling idiot.
Hawkins is a well-meaning loser but his main goal is to avoid the whitewash.

That's what they said about Joe Johnson.

You make it sound like he owns Ronnie
Barry beat him 11 years ago in the opening round of a tournament that doesn't even exist anymore.

I'll set the Sky box to record the first day's play but I'll mostly be fast forwarding when I get back from the pub because it will be a procession.

Your not far wrong there,I mean Hawkins can win a few but not 18.
If he does then it would be a miraculous achievement.

Ronnie can play his B or even C game and still win by nine or ten frames.
