Barry dug in and was more determined.
The signs of a World Champion in the making.
7/5/13 the day Hawkins wins the World Championship.

Nah, that's wrong imo. Over the best of 33 you have to dig in. Ricky couldnt deal with the scrappy frames. Bazza did a "matchplay" job on him.

Ronnie has relied on his opponents to make mistakes, and give him easy chances to get in, happened with Campbell, happened with Bingham, happened with Trump.
Hawkins won't do this, Hawkins will take his chances, grind Ronnie down and win 18-17 at 3am Tuesday morning.

Hawkins take his chances ???
HAHA did you watch his semi
he needed about 6 chances at least before he got in and won a frame
play like that and Ronnie will wipe the floor with him !!

Hawkins did superbly well leaving his best snooker for the end after such a poor scoring start in sessions 1 and 2. He`s had a terrific season and you can`t really expect him to go from fringe top 16 to Ronnie crusher in one season. What`s important for any player or indeed person is that they see progress in life and Barry is certainly seeing that, as are Walden, Davis Bingham etc. It`s not their fault if they don`t have Ronnie`s talent. Fortunately they also don`t have Ronnie`s talent for sticking their sizze twelves in their gobs so alls even. All Hawkins has to do in these next two days is think of everything he can to throw at Ronnie. Almost certainly it won`t be enough, but we`ll enjoy watching him try. Good luck Pro Snooker Hawkins.

63 points over the course of 31 frames is nothing really.
