genuinely gutted for you and mark
he was 8-6 up wasnt he, that is a sickening loss
Yes, King played well but Allen has guilt edge chances at 8-8 and 8-9 down. We will now miss out on a 2nd round clash between him and Ding...it will take me a couple of days to get over it. Then I will be in Sheffield and supporting - Carter, Robbo and Trump

Ronnie has an easy run to the semis. If Trump could make it there to face him, we could have won of the best matches in years.
After winning that, Ronnie will be hoping he faces the CAUC Robbo, who has little or no chance against him.

I would check the record book if I were you, little or no chance?

When McManus delivers the cue his whole body lifts up off the cue.

Ding played so so well there
MacManus is a very dangerous opponent on his day, but Ding took almost all of his chances, making 2 tons and another big breaks.
Alan didn't play bad, but Ding was superb there. Already looking ominous, if he can keep this sort of form, will take some beating.

And on this sort of form, Ding will destroy King in the next round no doubt about it.
Fu now 5-3 up but led 5-1. Frame 7 saw Fu level the scores to force a respotted black, but Matt took a thin one and took that frame, and added the next too.
Fu now in, wants to make it 6-3... 5-4 and he'll be devasted cause he knows Matthew isnt playing well.

Very good. I want a Selby - Ding quarter final this year.

And here's hoping it's the same result as in 2011

If you saw the way Ronnie dismissed Robbo last year, you wouldn't give the over-rated Aussie much of a prayer.

I didn't realise that was the only time they'd ever played.

Performances in the world championship are the only ones that count.
