Dechawat Poomjaeng

Postby Roland

Dechawat Poomjaeng is probably the least known of all the 16 qualifiers at the Crucible this year. He beat Michael Leslie, Liu Chuang, Anthony Hamilton and Jamie Cope to qualify and he's had a string of impressive results this season to show his reaching the Crucible is no fluke which you can see here: ... =2012/2013

I know most of you won't know much about him and where he's been to get to where he is today, so have a listen to his post match once he knew he'd qualified so when you see him at the Crucible you know a bit more about him. It's a great little chat, and it will get him some fans I'm sure.

Edit - If that doesn't work go here ... -wcqualies (it should work but isn't for me as I test it)

I really like the guy...He is a character...Too bad that at his age snooker players finish their career and not start it...

Hope he can qualify for some of the other major events. His harmless personality was amusing.

IMO we'll never see him in the latter stages of a WC again.

He'll have to play better than he did against Michael White, that's for sure.
