There's a guy in a prominent seat in a Crystal Palace shirt in the Luca match. Croydonite?

This might have already been answered earlier in this thread, but do we know exactly what was wrong with Dominic Dale earlier? He really didn't look well.
The commentators were speculating food poisoning, but that was a hell of a rash on his face.

Some good stuff in bits and pieces, but Walden has been far too careless throughout. Was more open earlier though.

Luca though. His opponent wasn't anywhere his best but credit for making a last 16 of a major at 17. Has Mark King next who he has beaten en route to qualifying for the Crucible.
Although his supposed genius is a load of bullocks, at least in this match. Walden well and truly folded under pressure.

What a great game that was. Luca started off clearly a bit jittery in the new conditions for him, big event, lots of eyes looking on. He eventually got on the board after Walden played on for snookers for about 20 minutes, but then levelled up with a brilliant frame from 68 down with 67 left. He mopped up the last reds with blacks playing some phenomenal shots, then potted yellow cushion first and cleared for 2-2.
Ricky looked to have it in the bag, lead 4-2 and it seemed Luca just couldn't get in first. Every time he took on the initial red and missed he left an easy chance. But then Ricky inexplicably missed an easy red, Luca cleared for 4-3 and the match turned.
I don't know if it was picked up on but it was certainly clear as day in the auditorium. Every time Ricky missed he left absolutely nothing. Luca had no run of the ball whatsoever until he fluked a red in the decider, but even then he played an attacking screw back to baulk sending the red into the pack so you're bound to get the odd fluke from that shot.
Luca proved his matchplaying skills and that he's the real deal. Ricky should have wrapped the match up, we all know that but his head went and you knew he was going to miss sooner or later. He was seeing problems all over the place and Luca bided his time and eventually reaped the rewards. He was a great sport at 4-4 when he finally forced the error after numerous quality safety shots, only to feather the white. How Ricky won that frame is anyone's guess but at the end of the day the right man won. Luca was the aggressor, he played superb tactically towards the end of the match and the shot he played to develop the match ball red will live long in the memory.
I have to say it, who needs Ronnie when you have Luca?

Walden is a Class 'A' choker. He may well be the biggest choker in the history of the sport. Brecel was dire yet wins the match.
Snooker seems to lack class players at present. It is most definitely quantity far more than quality. Having said that it means the tournament is up for grabs, which is good from a fan's point of view.

I'm not sure the biggest choker in the history of the sport would win two ranking tournaments.
