World Women's Snooker Championship - Final 2022

Final will see a new winner etched on the Mandy Fisher trophy as Belgium's Wendy Jans plays last edition's runner-up Mink Wongharuthai. The winner will earn a card on the World Tour next season.

Mink has taken the first frame on the black.

I'd have thought maybe the final would make it onto the betting streams, but alas not. I don't have facebook, so you'll have to keep us posted on the C'Mon Mink!!! situation. Hopefully in more detail than simply frame number updates.

jans as pulled back level, with a new high break of 31 for the match.

the third frame is going a bit scrappy with the table looking pretty awkward now.

judging by the chat room on the stream it's getting a few viewers out in thailand.

quite a few decent long reds going in, but neither can get on a colour. currently 15-9 to mink, with just five reds remaining.

Pot success rate of 70% and 75%. I have no idea if this is good or not at this level, but I suspect it could do with improvement.

Good effort by Wendy there to get it to a black ball game after Mink knocked the brown in.

Mink had a good run in the last q tour event thingy. Little Ben Mertens knocked her out.

jans makes the breakthrough and takes a 3-2 lead to the interval.

baring a snooker mink will pul one back to 4-3. she's not been playing well but is hanging in there.

Yes it is best of 11.

barring snookers will go to a decider. mink's highest break has improved slightly to 32 now.

having needed a snooker, jans is able to take it to the final black. but misses. no error from mink who wins her first of what will presumably be many world titles.

It was quite an incredible finish. But she really will have to play a lot better than this if she wants to avoid embarrassment on the main tour next year.
