she definitely got something about her, not her best performance by a long way in the semi final but she always looked to be more likely to string a break together.

this is great for women in snooker even reanne has to recognise that.

For too long there has been a cartel that wins Tournament. for the Best part of 20 years Reanne Evans then Ng on yee but Now Mink won then Jamie Hunter won and in Asia-Ocania last month Ploychompoo Laokiatphong and now either Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan or Bai Yulu will be World Champion.

Is this evidence that making the top women turn pro just to get slaughtered every week has had a detrimental effect on their development?
Or that having women turn pro has inspired others to come forth?

I'd like to think it's the latter, but unfortunately, I think it's the former

Nobody’s making women turn pro.

rising standard seems more likely, of which stronger incentives to competition would help.

the difficulty in adjusting back to the amateur conditions compared to the pro tour probably doesn't help

Competition is what drives up standards lack of competition leads to complacency.


Having Women turn pro with Reanne, Ng on yee, Kenna and Mink rotating theite tour turn is no good, but now either Reanne or Ng On Yee wont be on tour next season. and that can only be good to push up standards there is now a way forward and eventually there will be a breakthrough.

3-2 Bai Yulu at the break. Opening two frames dominated by Bai Yulu once Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan broke down on 38 in the opener. Then three scrappy frames, Bai Yulu relieved to win the last. On the evidence so far this is a tougher test for Bai Yulu than yesterday's.

I've been watching since 2-2 and also went back and watched frame 2, and I have to say, my skirt isn't lifted, which is surprising since this match offers copious amounts of porn.
