IBSF Amateur Championships

Today the IBSF World Snooker Championship for amateurs finished. It was hosted in Antalya, Turkey.

The Men's competition was won by Muhammed Asif (Pakistan) who beat 19-year old Jefrey Roda (Philippines) 8-5. The semi-finalists were Pang Junxu and Kritsanut Lertsettayathorn. There were 26 century breaks in the competition, with 139 by Pankaj Advani the highest.

The Women's competion saw Ng On Yee beat Nutcharat Wongharuthai 5-2. The top break was 91 by Bai Yulu.

In the 'Masters', Kwan Poomjaeng beat Alok Kumar 6-2.

The event lasted 11 days, with a group stage followed by knockout matches. Altogether, 528 matches were played by 208 players!
