EBSA European Snooker Open (with live streams)

EBSAs snooker events currently running in Albania include the European Snooker Open. The winner gets a 'wild card' entry to the Pro Tour Riga Masters event. 80 players have entered the Tournament.

Last years winner was Darren Morgan of Wales, who is defending his title. (Last Year he reached the semi -final of the Riga Masters). NINE other Welsh players are also entered including Andrew Pagett, Alex Taubman and Tyler Rees.

Other players include Andreas Ploner (Austria), Wayne Brown (England), Juha Lehto (Finland), Germany's Robin Otto, Felix Frede and Simon Lichtenberg, Kristján Helgason (Iceland), Greg Casey (Ireland), Shachar Ruberg (Israel), Daniel Holoyda, Marcin Nirschke, Mateusz Baranowski and Adam Stefanów (all from Poland) - full players list here - http://ebsa.pl/turnieje/2017/meo/en/sho ... layers.php

Another interesting name in the draw was 1996 World U21 runner-up Risto Vayrynen. http://www.snooker.org/trn/9697/u21_res.shtml
Seems like he never turned pro and only played a few amateur events, nothing in the last 10 years. Looked like it would be a nice return to competition as he led Andreas Ploner 3-0 with two 50+ breaks but then lost the next 4 frames and the match.

He has very occasionally played in the Finnish championships but that's pretty much all. Don't know why he's representing Switzerland in this tournament - anyone has any info`?
