RKG Pro Snooker Series March - 13 June 2015

Postby roy142857

Posting under 'Amateur' as this isn't WPBSA Pro Tour, but a new snooker tour in India, with a level of prize money that, as far as India is concerned, makes it 'Pro'. Total prize fund is about £22,000

Four tournaments and a 'Grand Finale'

Dates

17-28 March Delhi
10-19 April Ahmedabad
2-10 May Chennai
17-30 May Kolkata
Grand Finale 10-14 June Mumbai

Pretty much all of India's top players have entered the first tournament (except Pro Tour player Aditya Mehta).

The Chennai round, featuring Pro Tour player Aditya Mehta.

In the Last 48 round, Alok Kumar and Neeraj Kumar played 7 frames despite the round being best of five because an official mistakenly told them it was best of 7! Alok Kumar took it 4 - 3, it appears Neeraj Kumar was leading after 5 frames but the 4-3 result was let stand ...
