English Snooker Q School Qualifier

Postby roy142857

EASB competition with two paid-for places in Q School at stake.

The competition was double-knockout, so no player was out until they had lost twice.

Easiest to show this as a separate main and losers competition, even though in practice the two events overlapped. So, results from the main competition first:

Selected early round results

Jordan Winbourne 4 - 3 Callum Downing (R1)
Brandon Sargeant 4 - 1 Ryan Causton (R1)
Chris Jones 4 - 0 Luke Garland (r2)
John Welsh 4 - 1 Jake Nicholson (r2)
Chris Keogan 4 - 2 Adam Morrey
(Keogan break of 101)

Quarter finals
Chris Jones 4 - 1 Alan Evitts
Darren Cook 4 - 1 Jordan Winbourne
Brandon Sargeant 4 - 3 Sam Thistlewhite
Chris Keogan 4 - 2 John Welsh

Semi Finals
Darren Cook 4 - 2 Chris Jones
Chris Keogan 4 - 3 Brandon Sargeant

Final
Darren Cook 4 - 1 Chris Keogan

So the first paid-for Q School place goes to Darren Cook

Round 5

Round 8
