Indian Snooker Rankings

Postby roy142857

Cue Sports India have published their new Snooker rankings. Regarding the two Q school participants, Rahul Sachdev has climbed from 28th to 25th, and Lucky Vatnani has fallen from 32nd to 47th (he hasn't been playing in India much). It's a shame they're the only ranked Indian players participating, but I imagine the cost of doing so is prohibitive.

Notable 'climbers' since October are Manish Jain (from 29th to 17th), Siddharth Parikh (from 25th to 15th), Akshay Kumar (from 26th to 18th) and I.V. Rajeev (from 36th to 21st). Players falling out of the Top 20 have done so quite substantially - Manjot Singh from 20th to 29th, Rafath Habib from 16th to 30th, Aayush Kumar from 19th to 37th and Vijay Nichani from 16th to 50th.

The Top 20:

1. Aditya Mehta
2. Pankaj Advani
3. Laxman Rawat
4. Brijesh Damani
5. Kamal Chawla
6. Shivam Arora
7. Manan Chandra
8. Shahbaaz Khan
9. Faisal Khan
10. Sundeep Gulati
11. Dharminder Lilly
12. Pushpender Singh
13. Alok Kumar
14. Varun Madan
15. Siddharth Parikh
16. Nitesh Madan
17. Manish Jain
18. Akshay Kumar
19. Sourav Kothari
20. Sumit Talwar

Alok Kumar has taken over from Rupesh Shah at the top of the Billiards rankings.
