The Malaysian National Championship is being played this weekend at the Good 9 Snooker Center, Sri Petaling.

Quarter finals

Rory Thor 5 - 1 Sheldon Senangang
Thor breaks of 100, 91 and 67
Elvin Lean 5 - 3 Lee Hwa Meng
Iniesta Lim 5 - 3 Chooi Yew Wah
Sam Chong 5 - 3 Mohammad Reza

Semi finals

Rory Thor 5 - 0 Elvin Lean
Iniesta Lim 5 - 2 Sam Chong

The final will be played tomorrow.

Rory Thor streamrollered his relatively inexperienced opponent Iniesta Lim 6-0 to take the Malaysian Championship and its 5000 Ringgit first prize (about £1000).



Be interesting to see how Rory does against much stronger opposition at the Asian Indoor Games.
