25 year old Rory Thor has taken over the mantle from Sam Chong as Malaysia's top player, even though Chong hasn't slipped by much.

My personal opinion is Thor and the 4 amateurs who made the quarter finals would all at least be competitive on the Pro Tour if they were on it, a couple are fairly young (Heydari is 22, Wu Yu Lun is 23). Looks like Yoni Rachimanto of Indonesia has improved towards that level too, though he's not that young, 33, the same age as Chawla.

its interesting to note that Korea was so close to china with 1 silver medal the only thing that separates them.....China was very reliant on Snooker and the Pro players for the Medals the other discipline in cue Sports was Lacking.
