So finals day. And in the Men's final, Gareth Allen from Wales who has been so close to Pro Tour spots in the past, wins over Nigel Bond and Rory Mcleod during the past year followed on from a run to the final match in Q School 2 last year - how important will his win in the Welsh European Qualifier which got him into this Championship be?
Opponent 1997 European Champion Robin Hull was a top 32 Pro, and it should be noted he fell off through declining health not declining ability

Re: European Championship 2013 28 May - 6 Jun

Postby Wildey

yea Robin Hull is one of th most prolific break builders in professional competition without really making the breakthrough in to venues that often with over 100 centuries.

Robin Hull will be starting favorite and from past experience if Robin wins and turns down the chance to return to the main tour Gareth Allen wont be awarded the Tour Place.....Nothing short of winning today will do for Allen.
