i think thats a on Going thing

at the end of next season Players that's on the Tour this season that aren't inside the Top 64 will drop off tour. But the first year players that got on tour will have 2 years.

i still think the tour cut off will be around 80-96 as opposed to the top 64 when the tour becomes 128 strong.

Or else it will just become a yo-yo with pretty much the same folk going off every season then getting straight back on via Q-School

if they cant Break in to the top 64 after a 2 year cycle then they should go back off because they arent better than the players above them.

The Q School is the system for qualifying for the professional World Snooker Tour which was introduced in 2011 and will be staged again in 2013. There will be 12 places available for the professional circuit and all 12 qualifiers will be given a TWO YEAR TOUR CARD which guarantees their place on the pro circuit for a minimum of 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons.

The deadline for entering Q School is approaching fast, and we've got an amazing offer for the first 50 players to enter!

Each of them will receive TWO FREE TICKETS to the 2013 World Championship at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield! It's the biggest snooker show on Earth with the 32 best players in the world battling for the famous trophy at the sport's most renowned venue.

The tickets will be for a session of our choice and the trip to Sheffield will also include a free visit to the World Snooker Academy where Q School will take place!

So all players who are thinking of entering Q School are strongly urged to get their entry in NOW and take advantage of this fabulous chance to see the World Championship live. The atmosphere at the Crucible is sensational and must be experienced at least once!

Kyren Wilson doesn't need to enter. He's qualified for the main tour through the PTC route.
That looks a quite low number of entrants up to now...

i dont think any formal Criteria has been set out for next Season.

this is the Criteria for this season http://www.worldsnooker.com/staticFiles ... 127,00.pdf.

possibly after the poor showing from Ben Judge the Australasia Nomination will be withdrawn.

Who knows because nobody has said.

Mentioned on Northern Ireland Snookers Facebook page that their entry is Jordan Brown, didn't notice him listed above so guessing the 5 NGB entries need to be added to this unless the players selected have already entered in which case their entry fee would be repaid (I guess).

Postby Alan Craig

We had an extended closing date of 22nd April for the Scottish nomination. Dylan Craig clinched it by getting to the last 8 of the Scottish Championship yesterday.

He will get a refund from World snooker as he was entered already.
