At the start of frame 5 there, did I hear somebody mention Clive Everton's name?

I have to agree, Bingham needs to open up a 2 frame lead ASAP.

No, it was never going to be a Mark Williams precession. At one point, it looked like Stuart Bingham was going to run away with the session.
I still make Mark favourite, but at 4-4 nothing is impossible.

Something's wrong if it's not a procession let's be fair. I'll stick with my 9-4 prediction.

Why? Bingham is provisionally number 11. Officially ranked 17.
Okay, I get Mark Williams is the best player in the world at the minute, but he's playing another top twenty player. It's not like he's playing an unranked debutant or anything.
The way we're talking is like it's a disgrace that Bingham is trying to win.

If it was a major final then I'd get the MJW love-in but this is afterall a minor event, should be right up Bingham's street.

Look at it this way. Bingham has beaten Ding, he's beaten Shaun Murphy. He's a finalist as well.
Mark Williams hasn't beaten anybody officially ranked in the top-16. Bingham has had a harder draw then Mark has, and he's still there.

Whats with all the pro-Bingham crap here trying to raise him onto a pedastel level way above his journeyman status,
Williams is light years ahead of Bingham and should still win easy despite the blip earlier.
Binghams won nothing, Williams has done it all.
Binghams still just a journeyman even if he wins this, one swallow doesnt make a summer.
Dale, Harold etc have won rankers but there journeymen so Bingham will be no different,
the way folk are talking here, its as if hes a rising talent and a new era is dawning.

Nobody is saying that. You assume we all commentate for Eurosport, for bucks sake.
All people are saying is that he's played well this week, which he has. And you can't count him out, despite Mark Williams being strong favourite. What's wrong with that?
Nobody is claiming that Bingham is going to dominate like Hendry or anything. Why is everybody on his case?

He is being talked up a bit but every credit to him for reaching a ranking event final. We've all known who he is for years and you don't get to that status if you can't play. Williams is different gravy though.

The nerves are slipping in to Bingham's game now. This is where the Williams dominating could start.

Why Mark Allen would want to advertise the fact he's just lost to a player with no bottle, is beyond me.
Where are Mark Allen's ranking final appearances?

Looks like it might get one-sided now, the occasion has got a bit to Stuart Bingham.
Fair play to him though, he's played well to get to a final. I hope he can win another couple of frames, but I think he's too nervy now.
