question
is how PTC 12 Was forced to do it due to the floor being rubbish the way forward for the PTC by taking only 16 players to the venue and get 16 local wild cards to join them at the venue ??

That would just defeat one of the positives of the PTCS (an you know I don't find many of them) and that is to give the opportunity to the European crowds to see a lot of different top players in action live. Not to mention that at this stage of the competition the poor wildcards would be hammered 95% of the time and there would be little interest in such matches.

Come on Ricky!
Knock old man Rigsby out of the top 16. That will give long face something else to moan about.

I just remembered the end of this is on this weekend.
Not exactly the most star-studded line-up, but some good snooker non-the-less.
And, if it's only top-16ers you're interested in you only got a week to wait until The Masters.
For me, Stephen Hendry and Marco Fu could be hard to pick. You tend to think Hendry will get beat by everybody he plays these days.
But Marco Fu hasn't had much good form lately either.
I'd be kind of interested to see how Ricky Walden gets on against Xiao Guodong too.

To be guaranteed? Would a SF be enough if others lose?

if he reaches the semis he would be on 6,800
Michael White in 23rd spot has 6,900 after PTC 11
Jack Lisawski in 24th spot after PTC 11 has 7,060 points after PTC 12
so Allen has to reach the final.

Is it bizarre that I am looking forward to Stephen Hendry vs Marco Fu as a match? It might not be high quality the way those two have been playing this season, but I find it hard to pick a winner.

42 days not 49
if theres 2 different snooker things being shown on the same day, its still only 1 day of snooker, not 2 days
its a bit like saying i went out for lunch then also tea one day so that counts as going out for a meal 2 days in a row
