Is this possibly the least prestigious PTC? On right before the UK Championship, played at the Academy, top players clearly not pushing themselves?

There's no atmosphere whatsoever. Even after the 147 it was like in a library at night.
These PTCs in Sheffield have to go.

Mark Davis also lost today so a first round victory in the UK should be enough for a top 16 place after the next cut off point.

Correct. He will need a few good ranking events runs but from what I have seen so far this season I'm not worried at all about that.

Ronnies Ranking possition has absalutly nothing at all to do with PTC
Missed Shanghai,German Masters and Aussie Open and Lost first Round in UK,Welsh and China Open last season PTC has infact been his saviour.
