I sent him a text when I woke up asking if he was on the plane. No reply yet, if he did catch the plane I won't hear from him till after 11am our time so fingers crossed he's currently airborne and not asleep somewhere in Westbury

to be honest does he need to charge the batteries

its not as if hes playing day in day out

he prob sees having a fuller calendar as being part and parcel of being a full time pro and also prob thinks hes will be far more match sharp than others etc plus at the end of the day hes trying to make as much money as he can, thats what its all about ultimately.

and if Jimmy, 20+ years his senior continues to play here there and everywhere with an almost full schedule then Selby probably sees him as an inspiration.

Head out of bottom time, China is bucking massive mate. It's like saying they played in Italy so we in the UK don't need it because we should have caught it when it was in Italy.

never said we dont need it ofcourse we do but its not the be all and end oll of snooker because if they think one day ohhhhh were bored now we want something else we are screwed.

and by still going over to china to play invitational events whitch are essentialy glorified exhos the rest of the world not being tapped in to.....

yes theres brazil and Australia this season but going to poland is more benificial than going to china.

Also Selby already played in Poland more than once, he's done his bit of promoting the game here. I don't like the attitude of many snooker players and I think many are rather turning people off than the other way but still they are not Hearn's puppets who should jump at every opportunity to play disregarding common sense and not thinking about what their schedule does to their form.

Money talks, I guess the Chinese are making it worth while these players going out there.
