Big difference between Ebdon and Maguire. Ebdon will come good at some point in the season cos he's s well prepared. Maguire waits for his form to come and still expects to steamroller people.
Is WS trying to snooker Murph to death?? Still winning though...

Even Barry Hearn finds Murphy annoying.

He is his "official" snooker embassador tho. Who is going to fill in the gap when Murphy is no longer with us?

Good point. Now when there´s so many tournaments, which is great IMO, Ebdon-type of attitude and approach is right. Every player will get beat week in week out, it´s just about always playing the game with a good attitude. And enjoy it and enjoyng competitive snooker. Which is something Ebdon is all about, and Maguire maybe is a kind of a player who would fancy to steamroll people in every game. Supreme break-builder Maguire, but he could learn from Ebdon´s attitude.
I really these PTC:s. Amateur players will have a chance against top pro players ! And then we have O´Sullivan vs Williams first round match
There is great buzz now

Is it really true that Ronnie could drop out of the top-16 if he loses today?

yes in theory he could
a lot depends upon whether he gets the 700 points for Australia reinstated, for some reason him and Steve Davis never got minimum points for pulling out yet the likes of Dott did.
