Have faith in your players

. But Walden is in again after a 'prolonged'

safety battle. 4-0 in under an hour?

Unreal stuff... Walden wins with breaks of 70+, 130,95 and 131. Stevens scores only 15 points in frame 1!

And it is. A 131 to surpass the current high break of 130, made by Ricky Walden. Impressive must have been around 400 points without reply in a best of 7. Hope he brings this form against Ronnie.

Yes impressive stuff from him.. if he continues to play like that, Ronnie will have a very tough match for sure...
Would have loved to watch that performance from him... they just could have had cameras on this day.. with so much prize money at stake too.. but anyway.. tomorrow we can start watching it

Perry wins the first frame against Ireland's only representative in this event.

Hope he is, otherwise he might get hammered by an inspired Walden.. that being said, he had glandular fever too in germany and the welsh, won the first and reached the semis of the second, so, as usual, we never know what to expect from him..

True. Plus Walden isn't the most consistent of players either, although he seems to be regaining his form. Luckily he doesn't have another appointment with Rory 'The Dentist' McLeod.

Fergal now needs two snookers to win this second frame. Not that it'll stop him from carrying on...

Pot another red and a colour. That should be it. Bet Graeme Dott is quaking in his boots, looking at the standard of play in this match.

He had a golden chance in his two finals, led them by quite some margin, but, as always, bottled it in the end
Don´t think he will ever get an opportunaty like that ever again in his career
And for me maybe he is the 2nd best player never to win a world title, behind only, who else, Jimmy White

Silly time to have this event, with it being Cheltenham week, and St Patrick's weekend.

He could need a fifty snookers and still carry on, he´s that type of player..and he said in an interview he´d be heartbroken if someone told him he woulndt win a ranker in his career..

He did win a ranker though...

I'd say Selby is better, and Ding.

After a marathon third frame, Perry is 3-0 up on Fergal, at one point needing a snooker. Seriously long frame though, longer than the entire Walden-Stevens match.
