No that would be 2006 between Dott & Ebdon.

Somehow worse than 2008.
18-3 from memory was not a great final

Carter looks incapable of making a break above 20.

You think? Ali can't sting a 40 break - that wouldn't have changed no matter what happened in that frame.
Ugh - we were robbed of a final between Judd and Ronnie.

It's not beyond the realms of possibility, but Ronnies bound to give Carter another chance, it's just whether he takes it or not, and the closer to the winning line the harder it's going to be.

If Judd couldn't beat Carter he didn't deserve to be in the final.

Imagine a Dott v Carter final.
Ebdon vs Carter, first frame would still be going on with endless safety.

At the least Ebdon would get less screen time than he is now.

Stand up and be counted Ali. Its the biggest match of your life and its what you have dreamed of doing since you were kid. Give everything you've got into this match.

The worst final I can remember was 1988 when Davis played Griffiths.

I don't think I have seen a worse performance in a final than Carter's. He had a chance in all 4 frames.
