Always disturbed me when he used to describe Hendry's as impeccable.

Maguire gets frame ball. After that good start from Perry, Maguire has taken the bull by the horns. 4-1.

Slightly worrying for Williams, no way is he beating O'Sullivan playing like this.

He could have a performance that would put a peak Hendry to shame and he still wouldn't have a chance against Ronnie.

Maguire was unlucky to snooker himself on all colours, looked like he was on fire.

Yes but I reckon it's only a matter of time before williams finishes this off for good... no way chendry will win this match, but still nice to see the chinaman making a fight for it and the score more respectable

He's struggling to beat Liu Chuang, let alone O'Sullivan

Should Liu somehow win this match it would be the biggest of the all the shocks we have had so far. It won't happen though.

Williams won't lose in a thousand years this match... if he lost it though... he may as well retire from the sport...
Certainly will have to up his game if he at least doesn't want to get hammered by Ronnie

9-6 Chendry
This match is very much remainding me of the one Ronnie had at the worlds in 2010 against another man from China, Liang Wenbo..
Ronnie was also 9-3 or 9-4 up or something like that, and only won it in the 17th frame.. 10-7.. this match so far is heading that way too...

Joe misses one ball and Maguire makes an 88. On fire and 5-2. Definitely deserves his lead in the match.

Another example of Dennis Taylor giving us his amazing insight.
"If Stephen Maguire takes the frame to go 5-2 up, he's bound to take a lead overnight."
