Good to see this place is still going strong, not checked in here for a long time.
Had forgotten Gilbert needed to re-qualify for the tour last summer, good effort to get this far. Bit of a Doctor Who lookalike I think....
Gould cueing very nicely though.

Liang went around the yellow. Will have to wait a while for his frame winning chance then.

Think I'll watch Gilbert vs Gould have a feeling a clearance from Dave is on...

Not sure how Gould is 2-0 down there. Great start to that match...

enjoy the tactical frames as much if not more than the big breaks to be honest.

1-0 Honest John. Liang put up a good fight in the safety stakes but Higgins won it eventually.

It isn't that. I just didn't expect Gilbert to start off so well

I did. Gilbert is quality, really fluent when in the balls. Gould is under more pressure so I've gone for a Gilbert win.
Interesting to see Ben predict 10-5 to Ebdon - he's seen Ronnie at close quarters this week from practicing at Grove.

I went for a 1o-4 Gould win, might be the other way round now!

Wenbo looks to be the better player but Higgins will probably clear for 2-0 - typical Higgins.

3-0 Gilbert
I was hoping Dave would win but wasn't expecting such a good start from. Still sixteen frames to go though.
