'Long Up' knock out stage now underway. Nice to see Vietnam players in this as generally this is Australia, British Isles and India plus Peter Gilchrist. The 3 Vietnamese (Long Nguyen, Binh Nguyen and Nam Pham) all went out in the Last 32 but were fairly competitive, so well done to them.

Last 16 draw
Peter Gilchrist (Singapore) v Phil Mumford (England)
Rupesh Shah (India) v Geet Sethi (India)

Matthew Bolton (Australia) v Nalin Patel (England)
Dhruv Sitwala (India) v Alok Kumar (India)

David Causier (England) v Martin Goodwill (England)
Robert Hall (England) v Bhaskar Balachandra (India)

Sourav Kothari (India) v Arun Agrawal (India)
Ashok Shandilya (India) v Dhvaj Haria (India)

It'll be close I'd say. Just a shame neither of last years finalists are there this time. Obviously Russell's absence is a different set of circumstances to Advani.

Well done Peter Gilchrist. He looks the part when you see him play, very tall bloke and obvious class about him on the table.
