With all the fibre from his vegan diet he might need something else. :chuckle: Anyway 4-1 Ebdon. Maguire really needs the break.

Guys, this is the most brutal final I have ever seen. only 80 mins until the next session is due to start but this next frame could very well last 40 mins. Maximum of 6 frames played in this session, not good at all.

You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind; a journey into a nightmare land whose boundaries are that of mental torture. That's the signpost up ahead, your next stop, the Twilight Zone (or Beijing students gymnasium).

Sunday April 1st, a day Stephen Maguire aged 31 will never forget.....

Good final so far.. enjoyed it.

Hopefully ebdon can win 10-1 for laughs!

What a suprise winner this would be. You cant say he hasnt had to play well.

Liang wenbo 5-0, young wildcard, matthew stevens, john higgins, neil robertson, ding junhui! Amazing

Great final so far. Maguire is playing well, and has giving the former World Champion a tough time, restricting him to just 5 frames in the first session.

Ebdon needs to stay focused as he knows Maguire is well up for winning this title.

It should be a great second session.

After his efforts of Today Ebdon has 2 weeks to recover before he Plays in the World Qualifiers on 15th of April 10am against Possibly Jack Lisowski (poor kid) he will really need to Get in to some serious Grinding Practice or he wont know what hit him

To be honest, with the way he has been over the last two seasons or so, I don't really expect him to play two good events in a row. When he won in China in 2009, he went on to lose in the 1st round of the WC to Nigel Bond, looking completely out of sorts.

The session wasn't slow. It is just that the Attention Deficit Disorder generation have got used to everything being over in an instant.

This type of match was the norm years ago.

The score hasn't changed for a couple of minutes now, so bad news for Stephen.

Another safety battle.
