Who'd have thought? Mark Williams won 5-0, with Ronnie not even potting a ball. I couldn't believe Mark Williams made 5 147s in one match.

Mark has such a mental block when it comes to Ronnie, it's unreal. He must already feel he won't get past the second round at the Crucible.

It's a shame to see a great of the game like Mark Williams to have such a block when he faces Ronnie. He's not the only one of course. But for somebody who has won so much in his career, including the World, UK and Masters all on two occasions, it's disappointing that Mark seems to snake hiss himself every time he plays Ronnie.

I wonder whats going on with Mags v Walden cos they're going slow. Excellent safety battles or are they missing everything in sight?

Worldsnooker just confirmed it. Shame. I hope he will be well soon and fully fit for the World.

I don't think you can fault Mark's dedication to the game. He travels all over the world, to play in even the most minor snooker tournament. Gutted for him.
Does this mean there will be a different match televised instead of him and Ding today?

Grove snooker have come on Twitter and said:
Grove Snooker @grovesnooker
I heard M Selby just pulled out of CO. I hope he is ok and doesn't get fined. What about his ranking points and prize money.
Which to be fair is a pretty pathetic attempt to align Selby pulling out with injury after playing a match at the venue with Ronnie getting off a plane and not turning up to the venue at all!

If Hendry wins it'll be his first ranking quarter-final for two years. Anybody think he can do it?
I understand that Robbo weren't great last match.

it wasent a swearing type of tweet to reply to he was just trying to be clever and looked like a hammer so i was not about to distract from the fact he looked the pin end.
