Great win for the Nugget
probably the hardest last 48 match he could have faced and he did what he had to do, and also stepped in with some decent breaks too including a 73 and a 113.
Got to fancy his chances v Carter surely too
and that also pretty much secures Ronnies top 1 place, unless Mark Davis reaches the final i think

Should Ronnie lose his opening match he would be out of the top 16 if both those things happen: Mark Davis reaches the semis and Stuart Bingham wins his opening match.

ah yeh the semis it was
if Mavis makes the semis ill give him the prize money myself
no chance of him negotiating past Ding then Higgins to even make the quarters, let alone the semis

*Stephen Hendry* 4-0 Kurt Maflin (Top break a 49 from Hendry).
Hmmmm, very low standard match, both well over par.
Maflin maybe tormented by the fact he was playin the greatest ever snooker player, the one and only Stephen Hendry.
Even though Hendry was well over par,he stayed very cool and played some good safety, remained patient and did,nt push the boat.
Well done Stephen!.

It's Rigsby vs Fu in Newport.
Last time they met there Fu dispatched Rigsby 5-2 in 2009.
More of the same please!

I am glad Higginson lost. I hope he never wins another match in his life, after what he did in Berlin last week!
Bye Andrew

JeeZ,wITZ78,who f***in cares,i really have better things to do than to talk about the word HATE,if you want to keep harpin on about it,then do so.
Just cause i wanted Walden to beat Davis today does,nt mean to say that i HATE Davis!!!!.Get over it.
