To be fair, I've seen Murphy throw in a few stinkers in tournaments recently. He used to be consistently hard to beat.

but hes missed the boat to become the player he thought he would..
yes he can still win plenty but he wanted people to talk of him in the same light as Davis and Hendry....that will never happen now.

Doesn't he always? The thing about Murphy is, no matter how much of a bell-end he is, he could be 8-1 down and he's still trying to win. That's one thing I admire about him. With him, the match isn't over until the handshake.

a mate just texted me to ask is there any crowd at these games and he has a point, the atmosphere is just so flat, dont think ive seen one shot of the audience either?
so can anyone confirm if theres actually a decent crowd?
they need to liven up whatever, one minute there all hyperventilating cos they see Ronnie and Judd on the red carpet 50 yards away then when there at the snooker (assuming they actually have came) they dont say boo to a goose.
Shaun gonna win here, Dale fannying about cos hes got a lead thinking a good chance will eventually come. It goes 3-4 and i make Murphy fave.
Come on Ebdon, defeat today would be the final nail
