Great Semi.

Trump's own words, after Bingham knocked Ronnie out of tournament, he thought his biggest threat was gone, so he took Bingham lightly in the first 2 sessions. He said that after he started to take it seriously, Bingham was already full of confidence.

And a great decider, that plant Bingham took on is one hell of a pressure shot. He beat R.Williams, Dott, ROS, Trump and Murphy to win the title. Did it the hard way.

A lot of the problems Judd had with his early career was with his own attitude.

Which seem to have gone now, after he started working with his brother. I'm happy he did, so much raw talent would have been a shame if he didnt fulfill it.

Agreed.

I couldn't warm to Judd for years somehow. I just thought his attitude seemed off somehow.

Now he's been working with his brother, he seems more mature in his approach to the game. I'm still not his number one fan. But definitely think there's more to admire about it than there was even a couple of years ago.

This was a difficult defeat to take, going into the match I felt it would be a tough match but fancied Judd to win. Bingham kept pulling away, Judd then kept coming back but could never get ahead, from 16-14 down Judd played so well and I thought surely he's going to win this decider. I think Judd had a horrible kick early on in the frame and then Bingham took on a very risky plant along the cushion which I was actually thinking in my head go on take it on, he got it and clinched the frame and match from it
