One of O'Sullivan's greatest breaks.

Ronnie looks like a madman here, Maybe he urgently Needed to go to the Loo or something :p

Maybe the biggest genius moment of his entire career. Even more than the 5:20 minute maximum.

Virgo described it perfectly, it was as "though he hit the balls and they disappear."

And he was fat too.

Fat Ronnie was an absolute beast of a snooker player. Never seen a talent quite like it. And he was prone to imploding back then too which made it even more exhilarating when he did produce his best.

He was very volatile back then. He only knew one way of winning. He either played his A game and won, or else he would implode and likely end up losing.

It was exciting though how unpredictible he was.

This thread is a fantastic contribution to the Island.

I still think 2016 Masters Quarter-final, frame 9 of 9: Ronnie O'Sullivan 73 (73) - 70 (70) Mark Selby belongs on the list. Who among us can name another frame (especially one in such a big event involving major rivals) where one player made a 70+ break only to lose the frame to a 70+ counter-clearance...?

I'm sure I've seen this happen before but cant remember who was involved...

I do agree its very rare and even more so in a big occasion as this.

I love you too, man. Actually it was you who inspired me to take some time off. Did me good.

Can we break this up into 100 best long pots, screw shots, safety shots etc...

100 greatest doubles?

100 greatest red-ball pots?

100 greatest free-balls?

100 greatest double kisses?

That’s why it’s on the list. It’s at number 56

I’d like to see this.

Hell of a lot of work though considering how many one session matches there’ve been.

I’ve thought about it, but it would be very difficult

All the more reason to do it.

You've piqued my interest. The only issue is that, unlike multi-session matches, I've missed quite a few of the great ones. Particularly events in China, Thailand, Australia etc.

Something like the greatest performances in World Championship matches or final matches would be not bad.

World Championship matches and finals are usually the two standout matches you tend to remember if one guy performs to a very high standard.
