62. 2018 World Championship second round, frame 21 of 22: Ali Carter 61 (51)-54 (54) Ronnie O’Sullivan
Was this the frame that Carter showed he was finally ready to beat his arch-nemesis? Superb counter-clearance. (1.32.30)

Ronnie looks like a madman here, Maybe he urgently Needed to go to the Loo or something :p

Maybe the biggest genius moment of his entire career. Even more than the 5:20 minute maximum.

59. 2008 World Championship second round, frame 15 of 22: Ali Carter 147 (147)-0 Peter Ebdon
The second 147 of the 2008 World Championship, a record still unequalled.

58. 2019 World Championship first round, frame 19 of 19: Gary Wilson 74-50 Luca Brecel
The nerve-shredding longest frame in Crucible history, and the start of Gary Wilson's fairytale run to the semi-finals. Some of the snookers Wilson escaped, I'll never figure out.

57. 2011 China Open last 32, frame 9 of 9: Stephen Lee 72 (61)-70 (53) Mark Williams
One of the greatest one-session matches ever played got the finish it deserved. Williams hit four centuries – and lost!

55. 2012 World Championship first round, frame 16 of 16: Cao Yupeng 64-55 Mark Allen
Allen had extended the match by potting the final black... or so we thought. The white rolling in-off and bringing an end to the match was one of the most bewildering Crucible moments.

Agreed. So good to watch. Snooker from the gods.

53. 2017 Scottish Open final, frame 16 of 17: Neil Robertson 60-54 Cao Yupeng
Cao Yupeng throwing away a big lead in this final is often referred to as one of the great snooker chokes. Here, he actually came within a shot of his first ranking title. (1:59:00 onwards)

52. 2009 UK Championship semi-final, frame 13 of 17: Ronnie O’Sullivan 83-62 John Higgins
The strangest frame of one of the great near-comebacks. Featuring a refereeing decision that caused quite some controversy.

What’s this about if I may ask?

From the China Open in 2011. The GOAT best of nine of all time.

51. 2008 World Championship second round, frame 25 of 25: Liang Wenbo 79-53 Joe Swail
A controversial conclusion to a Crucible classic, with Swail fuming afterwards. Here's the Irish Examiner's description of what happened at the end:
"The 21-year-old Chinese star was 27 points ahead with 27 remaining when he failed to get out of an apparent snooker by hitting the cushion first.

"Swail had the white replaced and Liang proceeded to hit the target ball directly, prompting claims from the Irishman that the referee had failed to replace the white in the correct position."

50. 2010 World Open last 64, frame 3 of 3: Ronnie O’Sullivan 147 (147)-0 Mark King
O'Sullivan had the cheek earlier to stop play after a red and a black so he could find out what the prize money was for a maximum. When he found out there was none, he played on for the maximum (seemingly), made it to 140, and was going to leave the final black until Jan Verhaas told him to cop on.

49. 2017 UK Championship last 16, frame 10 of 11: Ronnie O’Sullivan 66-54 Akani Songsermsawad
The best frame of a tremendous match. Underdog Sunny Akani fought tooth and nail against Sullivan, but not taking this frame was his undoing.

48. 2008 World Championship second round, frame 23 of 25: Joe Swail 63-59 Liang Wenbo
The second frame from this classic to make the list. Liang celebrated after getting to the snookers required stage... but Joe Swail's comeback was to continue after he got a snooker on the pink.

47. 1988 British Open final, frame 17 of 17: Mike Hallett 71-56 (56) John Parrott
Hallett may be best known for his two disastrous Masters finals, but he held his nerve here in a tight decider against a proven winner.

45. 2019 World Championship first round, frame 17 of 19: Stephen Maguire 60-57 Tian Pengfei
Pengfei appeared to have sealed his place in the second round for the first time. But Maguire got the snooker he needed on the blue, fluked the blue, and would go on to win the frame and match.

43. 2011 World Championship final, frame 22 of 33: John Higgins 65-55 Judd Trump
An overly agressive Judd Trump went for a difficult pot that would have put him 13-9 up in this final. He missed, lost the frame, and the next four frames as well. Probably the frame that cost him the title.

40. 1992 World Championship final, frame 25 of 32: Stephen Hendry 63-61 Jimmy White
After losing the last frame of the third session, White needed a good start to settle his nerves as he closed in on his first world title. Instead, he missed a gettable red down the cushion, and lost a frame he really should have won.

39. 2010 World Championship second round, frame 24 of 24: Steve Davis 60-43 John Higgins
The greatest shock in snooker history? Whatever you think, old Steve Davis rolled back the years here to hold his nerve in a pulsating frame against champion John Higgins, sealing a barely believable win.
