Trivia time.
Since 1980 there have only been three players who have won the World Championship, and have never made another appearance in a World Final. Who are they?

Robbo and Bingham are two.
Don’t know the other.

You are correct with those two.
Does anyone else know the last one?

No, but in a way you're very close.
Here's a clue; the post 1980 part is very important.

This makes me think it’s Dennis but if so that’s a bit misleading from your original question
Other than him I’ve got nothing.

Alex Higgins?
His 1972 wasn't The Crucible.

It's not Alex Higgins. He made two World Championship finals in the 80's, winning one.

It was meant to be a little bit of a trick one, so good job for getting it.

Robertson and Bingham are the only players to have won a final without also having lost one.

Coming back to the original question. I think Robertson will eventually beat Ronnie in a multi session match.
Given the recent history and pattern it wouldnt surprise me if the Aussie beat him at the World Championship.

Given the way Ronnie that plays at the World Championship these days, it wouldn't surprise me if I beat him there.

Given both of their records since 2014 it would surprise me if Ronnie and Robbo both go far enough to meet each other!

This is also true. If Robertson draws Milkins first round, it's all over.

Who knows. Ronnie could plummet in the rankings pretty soon...

Imagine a first round match between Ronnie and Judd.

Who had the better prime, though?

Dont think so, but Ronnie does have lot of money to defend this season so he could indeed, not say drop off Top 16 but be something like 12th or 13th if he isnt careful.

I think the answer is NO.
Robertson wins 100% of finals, but plays only one.
