Free Ball

Postby Hussar

If there are no reds on the table and your opponent requires a snooker or snooker to win by fouls on the Yellow, am I allowed to claim a free ball if I am snookered on the Yellow?

Yes of course.

For instance, declare Green as the Free Ball Yellow. Green is worth 2 points, and goes back to it's own spot, and then you play the Yellow as normal.

Thank you. I thought so as it should be irrelevant if your opponent requires snooker to win.

A free ball is awarded if your opponent fouls and leaves you snookered. It doesn't matter at what point this happens in the frame, a free ball is still awarded.
