Barry Hearn seem to be suggesting that more 'fun' events could be coming along to complement the existing 'flat draw' events.
Does this mean the World Doubles may make a return. If so i would love to see the following pairs entered:
Stephen Maguire-Shaun Murphy
Ian Burns - Peter Ebdon
Judd Trump-Jack Lisowski (the new Higgins-White dream team?)
Noppon Saengkham-Sunny Akani
Rory McLeod-Fergal O'Brien
Yan Bingtao-Yuan Sijun
What pairs would you like to see? Who would Mark Selby pair up with, or Ronnie?

Two players at the table at a time.
Two cueballs.
A race to claim more points than the other player.

It will be hard to get the "Donald" on board remember he has a wall to build.

The "Donald Trump" would be an impersonator.

So he's free to play in the tournament?

Not too sure about doubles, but the Thai 6 Reds will surely become a ranker soon.

I'm amazed Hearn hasn't picked up the doubles mantle, but maybe he doesn't fancy it. If he's looking for something different it ought to be a winner...

The Higgins White team up was the nuts. Especially Alex's song in front of Dickie Davies

Wonder what happened to Tony Meo. He was one of my favourite players in the 80s. Remember him winning a ranking tournament in about 1989 and getting to WSC semi-finals.
Meo-Davis was a demon partnership. Think they won 4 out of the six tournaments.

I believe i read something not too long ago about Tony Meo becoming a jewellery dealer in Hatton Garden. Since retiring from the game he doesn't play, follow the game or associate with any former players. I remember getting the impression he was a bit bitter about the end of his career. If i can find the article, I will post a link here.

Or Jimmy Robertson and Neil Robertson would be good.
Mark Selby and Matthew Selt. Selby and Selty.

The dream team is Pinkball and Ash.
Pinkball admired Ash, since Ash arrived and ruffled feathers on this forum.
