Yes. Two world finals. Too bad he played Ronnie in both of them...

Maguire has let himself down with a terrible attitude.
This was defined at last year's Worlds. He had O'Sullivan and wasted his chance. Carter was more determined and polished O'Sullivan off.

Allen.
Maguire was a talented guy, but that's about it. He lost the plot too many times.
Carter is just a bunny. Yes, he reached 2 WC finals, but he was always gonna be second best in those finals. And that's wasn't just cause he was playing Ronnie. It's his whole attitude that was wrong. The handshake when he tried to intimidate Ronnie, the shoulder barging this year. It's like he tries any trick in order to win, meaning he doesn't believe the snooker he'll play is enough to win.
On the other hand, Allen fancies his chances against anyone, he has this inner self belief that he's among the very best or at least equal to them. This is the right approach and the mentality of a champion.

Allen for me.
Reaching world finals is great for Carter, but I do agree with Johnny... he doesnt have that inner belief like Allen does, and sometimes tries silly tactics.

Jokes aren't funny when you have to explain them....
Ronnie predicted Mags would dominate the game for a decade.

How old is Mags? Is he in his 40s yet?
Because, the way the game is going, maybe Ronnie meant he could dominate for a decade, you'd just have to wait a couple of decades first.

no one has voted for Maguire yet but statistically he's had a better career than the other two. As matters now stand.
He's won 5 ranking tournaments which means one more than the other two.
Maguire has also won the UK Championship and back then it was obviously played in multi session format. I obviously agree though that he hasn't done justice to his talent and ability. Similar to Stevens.
