I reckon making it by the end of the calendar year is possible. Certainly by The Masters.

He'll make the 1000th ton at the Crucible, in the final frame, when he'll complete a 18 nil drubbing of Selbo, and with the perfect break, a magical 147. :d

You think he'll only make 31 centuries between now and May?

Yup. He'll do it on purpose

Be nice to see him do at the Masters.

One of the ITV events.

There's no way he can only make 30 before the Crucible. He'd have to miscue, miss shots on purpose for that to happen.

It all depends on how many events he'll play in and how far he advances in each of them.

I want him to do it in the Last 128 of the UK Championship, as an up yours to the BBC for not televising that stage.

His schedule probably going to be

> Northern Ireland
> UK
> Scottish Open
> Masters
> World Grand Prix (ITV)
> Welsh Open
> Players Championship (ITV)
> Tour Championship (ITV)
> Worlds

maybe the China Open. But I think he'll skip it.

1) He loves the ITV events so he'll 100% play in those. That's 3 tournaments.
2) He's obliged to play all the Home Nations due to Eurosport Contract. Another 3 tournaments.
3) UK, Masters and Worlds is obviously a given.

9 tournaments altogether and 8 before the Worlds. He needs 32 more tons to reach 1000 so he'd only need to average 4 tons per tournament before the Crucible (and I have excluded China Open too). Easily done.

Moreover, the average lowers down further when he'll get a few deeps runs.

Wow, didn't expect him to play in that many. :hmmm:

I predict he'll do it an one of the last 2 ITV events.

If he didn't have the Eurosport contract, he'd skip Northern Ireland and Scottish Open lol

Will it be the Masters 2019??

Re: Tons

I'd rather Ronnie get another maximum than reach 1,000 centuries.

He'll do both. He had one a few weeks ago

You say he will play the ITV events but he’s only on 20k prize money atm to qualify. No guarantees he will be in them all

Alan? Is that you?

He's now only 29 centuries away from the big 1000. I think he should comfortably achieve this by the end of the season.
