I don't recall this. But I did have a period during those years where I was a toe-dipper in the snooker world and only watched the Masters and Worlds and UK. Mind you, that was two-thirds of the calendar at that time.

Dave Hendon was very supportive of this on his blog ten years ago and the comments section had people bringing up things about Pat Mooney. By 2010 he was starting to cool on it and question it's future. I knew it was going nowhere then but I didn't think it would end the way it did.

It wasn't needed under Hearn.
Felt like it was a pre-cursor to the PTCs.
