Audiences. Sponsors.

Snooker is a gentleman sport and gentleman does not wear football jerseys and school boy club clothes in such atmosphere.

Look at american pool in USA. They struggle to reach TV audience. For many reasons. One of them is the lack of dress code for players.

They dress like their audience, wearing cargo shorts and flip-flop while eating wings next to the table.

I understand sponsors do, in the sense that they don't want another betting company or whatever appearing on appearing on screen of a tournament they sponsor.

I can't understand, relate to and barely respect anybody who goes "Let's not sponsor a tournament because a fan in the third row is wearing a football shirt, and it's scruffy". People who would notice this, or care what people are wearing, are judgmental. I hate people like that.

Besides, wearing football shirts has nothing to do with eating wings. You aren't permitted food. What difference should your clothing make to that?

I think Hearn is trying to pretend that watching snooker is a sophisticated night out at the theatre.

I am not sure what my wife's reaction would be if i came home and said "i've booked us a night out at the Theatre in Sheffield on Friday". Please dress smartly - it is Ding Junhui v Ryan Day!

Does it have bookie's logo on it?

Yes, but that is the part covered in vomit!

I find that very offensive Vodkadiet.

The perpetuation of stereotypes of gender, nationality. and class are vile and something I thought you would not get involved in.

Some of those posh Swedish birds are shaggable though

Badsnookerplayer

I was really just trying to explain "Brexit' and why it happened!

No. I was referring to the fact all those people in the Newcastle nightclub were given the vote!

A very London-centric attitude if I may be so bold

Yes. That's definitely what swung the vote.

That Muumuu advertises flowers, I'm afraid. World Snooker wants to remind people other plants are also available.

Disallowed.
