With the World Championships the last event the following players are set to be relegated unless they can get into the top 64 or the top 8 of the one year money list.
The following 8 players are in the money list positions and will stay on tour currently:
1. Elliott Slessor
2. Sam Craigie
3. Tian Pengfei
4. John Astley
5. Lee Walker
6. Mei Xiwen
7. Aditya Mehta
8. Jak Jones
the following players are set to be relegated unless they perform well enough at the WSC (i have put their qualifying opponents in brackets):
David Grace (plays Wang Yuchen)
Zhang Anda (plays Zhang Yong)
Alfie Burden (plays Jamie Curtis-Barrett)
Sam Baird (plays Soheil Vahedi)
Zhao Xintong (plays Aditya Mehta)
Hammad Miah (plays amateur Jordan Brown)
Mitchell Mann (plays Peter Lines)
Ian Preece (plays Zhou Yuelong)
James Wattana (plays Peter Ebdon)
Craig Steadman (plays Jamie Jones)
Fang Xiongman (plays Lyu Haotian)
Wang Yuchen (plays David Grace)
Thor Cheung Leong (plays Michael Holt)
Adam Duffy (plays Mark Joyce)
Alex Borg (plays Jimmy Robertson)
Chen Zhe (plays Liam Highfield)
Josh Boileau (plays Ken Doherty)
Jamie Curtis-Barrett (plays Alfie Burden)
Kurt Dunham (plays Daniel Wells)
Christopher Keogan (plays Jack Lisowski)
Kritsanut Lertsattayatthorn
Boonyarit Kaettikun
Leo Fernandez (plays Tom Ford)
David John (plays Andrew Higginson)
Lertsattayatthorn & Kaettikun have not entered the World Championship so are definitely off the tour.
The matches Jamie Curtis-Barrett v Alfie Burden & Wang Yuchen v David Grace are relegation matches.

These players probably only realistic chance of survival maybe add Ian Preece and Craig Steadman if they have a good day.
You could say David Grace v Wang Yuchen is a relegation six pointer, if this was football, which it isn't.

Should have used a tennis analogy instead. People here would have understood it better.

Alex Borg was also relegated today.
Have World Snooker decided to stop giving out a tour card to James Wattana then?

Magnificent Mann Mauls Peter Lines.
Aesthetic Ebdon Escapes Epic Wattana.
Surely Mitchell Mann and Elliot Slessor are both way much better players than their rankings would suggest. Also mindblowing to think Mark Williams needed to qualify a year ago, and not only to qualify but he also lost his last qualifying match against then an on-form Stuart Carrington! And now it would be almost impossible to think any player to deserve his top-16 position more rock-solidly and better than him!

That's one of the most coherent and on-topic posts I think I've ever read from you.

Is snooker worth watching without a Maltese on tour?

Dunham knows what's up. Thought Boileau might have given it another go, 22 a bit young to give up on snooker
